MARCH 29th: Join us for the Great British Spring Clean in Park Bridge

This March, Park Bridge is getting involved in the Great British Spring Clean, the UK’s biggest mass-action environmental campaign, bringing communities together to show they love where you live.

After the incredible turnout at our January litter pick (46 volunteers and 51 bags collected!), we’re doing it again, and we’d love as many residents and visitors as possible to join us.

When: Sunday 29th March
Time: 1:00pm
Where: Meet at the Heritage Centre car park (car park will be open for those who wish to drive in)

Afterwards, we’ll head back to the Park Bridge Institute for a well-earned brew and cake for everyone who’s taken part.

Why we’re doing this

In January, we had an amazing community turnout, collecting a huge amount of rubbish and sending a clear message that Park Bridge isn’t a dumping ground, it’s a place we’re proud of, and we’re protecting it together.

We know littering and fly-tipping won’t disappear overnight. But that’s exactly why visible community action matters: it sets the tone, builds momentum, and makes Park Bridge a safer, cleaner, more welcoming place for residents, visitors and wildlife.

The Great British Spring Clean runs from 13–29 March, and it’s all about communities coming together as “Litter Heroes” to tidy up the places they love.

Thank you

Every bag collected helps. Every volunteer makes a difference. Whether you can spare 20 minutes or the full session, we’d love to see you there.
