Report a Park Bridge road safety incident
Park Bridge’s roads are narrow, winding and shared by walkers, children, cyclists, horse riders, vehicles and more every single day. We know first-hand how dangerous they can be, and we also know that many serious incidents never make it into official council or police records.
To build the evidence needed for real change, we are asking residents and visitors to report any dangerous incident, near-miss, collision or hazard you experience or witness on the road running through Park Bridge.
Your reports will help us push for urgent action from Tameside Council, Oldham Council, TfGM, GMP and other regional authority partners.
What to report
Please report via the form below any of the following:
- Speeding or dangerous driving
- Near-misses with pedestrians, children, cyclists or horse riders
- Cars mounting paths, verges or losing control
- Vehicles crashing into walls, fences or banks
- Abandoned or damaged vehicles
- Unsafe overtakes
- Blind-bend incidents
- Any situation where you felt unsafe on the road
No incident is too small, if it didn’t feel safe, we want to know.
Why this matters
Tameside Council currently relies only on Stats19 police injury data, which does not record:
- Non-injury collisions
- Near-misses
- Winter hazards
- Road abandonments
- Verge impacts
- Unreported crashes
- Daily pedestrian risks
This means the real danger in Park Bridge is severely under-reported and under-represented.
Your reports will help us create a stronger and clearer picture that we will share regularly with both councils and safety partners.
